-Working as a RN and totally exhausted and loving it! I am working nights and training for oncology certification. I feel like I am finally able to really understand what I am doing and why. I LOVE the people I work with and work with such a great team. The floor I work on is so diverse ranging from orthopedics, oncology, psych, gyno surgeries, neuro surgeries, bowel surgeries and medical patients (ie-TB, hyponatremia, DVT , etc). It is always keeping me on my toes!! I was looking through my "Bucket List" post and realized I have -saved a life (I've done CPR, helped a patient be intubabted and also assisted someone on comfort care to comfortably pass away) and passed my NCLEX. All of these things made me realize I need a new bucket list!
-Bought my first home!! Email me for the new address :) It is an adorable 2 story home with brick detail, red door, patio and in my dream neighborhood. What an experience that was!! I learned how stressful owning a home is. Luckily I have my parents and family close by for help and Riley who is always helping with yard work, garbage and dishes! I honestly found my dream house for now-- I call it a dollhouse because it is so charming. I love it.
-Got a puppy. Phewf raising a black lab puppy is not easy but he brings Riley and I SO much joy. Maverick is 16 weeks old and doing so great with his training. He LOVES to go on walks to the pond and swim, he plays fetch, loves tug-o-war, and is doing sit-stay so well. Maverick is in the middle of losing all his teeth so we call him toothless joe. Maverick is such a great addition to our lives
-My family is all well and happy
